Goa Offbeat 4 - Butterfly Beach

In Pursuit of Hidden Joy...

By now! I was super accelerated to explore the unfinished. Our next destination was Cabo De Rama Fort. However, En-route to the fort! we had a glimpse of another seashore that looked spectacular.  We parked our bike on the subway & headed towards this beauty in hushes. It was a narrow promenade walk of a half-mile & as we foot in, it was astonishing. These scales were a treat to witness. Again! It was just 2 of us on this whole panorama. On the south end of the sea, it was a block of red stones & its splits on the water. We climbed uphill to have a bird eye watch & the place was scenic to another level. For the very first time, we decided to do more filming rather than just photoing. Ultimately, This was a place of Solace. Later through internet surfing, we found that this place is called Talpona Beach. Talpona beach is a definition of freedom & solitariness.

Hushness of Talpona

By the way, We were hungry by the time we wrapped up from Talpona. We decided to try out goan cuisine for lunch. We found a restaurant & had a goan thali for lunch. It pleased our tastes with coastal dishes. It was mid-afternoon by the time we finally reached Cabo De Rama Fort. This fort had a beach viewpoint after we climbed this castle at one end. We reached there & this place finally fulfilled the aerial view desire & clicked some photos on the spot what we call “The Wallpaper”.

Arial View from Cabo De Rama Fort

We left the fort to commute to our next hidden gem called “ Butterfly Beach” which is one of my personal favorites. It was in complete isolation from the rest of the world. We missed our routes a couple of times & finally reached a halt point to end the circling. This place can be reached in 2 ways.

  1. By boat from Palolem Beach - Butterfly Beach
  2. By Hiking from the unknown halt point

Without any uncertainty, we chose option 2. We took a stroll on this pathway like a sleuth. As we reached the destination after a mile walk in the cocktail hour, what we witnessed was astounding. The shore was hardly a radius of 100 mts but was pleasing at peak levels.

The Hidden Butterfly Beach

People still ask me about the place even today when I post the pic on my socials. We climbed to the peak of the gigantic black rock hill on the right corner & subconsciously I uttered WooooW.  We don’t know how time flew & the sky started shimmering to red &  orange. It was early night by the time we left here & reached home around 9 PM.

An Unmatched Day!

Throughout the journey, we no were felt exhausted despite the fact that we adventured more than usual . After we reached back home I could sense the fatigue ness in my organs.

A mathematical brief to 0ur journey is as below:
