Pondicherry - Here I Begun

An amateur travelling took birth here. I never was into travelling before this, It bugged me to get set for all new experiences. This trip introduced me into the travel world. A complete transform to my lifestyle. A holy addiction to explore the places. A dare to do the soulful things. This trip genuinely stuffed me with interest towards mother nature.

Nothing Cliché above, It’s all genuine!.

It was 2015 just after passing out from college life, There was a gap between us in the hustle of finding jobs or joining courses. We couldn’t hangout as frequently. This left us disconnected for sometime & one fine day we crewed for an outing which wasn’t so easy as i thought. I haven’t had a bike trip experience before & this event wasn’t so easy for me. I was anxious about how this could take place & what sort of experience it could leave to me.

The plan concludes like this,

Day 1: Overnight Ride to Pondicherry
Day 2: Overnight Ride to Bangalore
For the unknowns : Distance from Bangalore to Pondicherry is 310 Kms.

It wasn’t easy at all for someone like me who hasn’t driven bikes for such long terrain. I finally convince myself at home by keeping all risk factors hidden. With that skeptical approval from home I joined my friends in this ride of 4 men's.

In the night after having an unfulfilling dinner we started with our bikes in the roads ungeared. It was a stupid thing that we didn’t count on risks involved. This impacted not in huge but to a substantial amount. Wind was harsh & eyes were looking for the rest & this hindered our confidence. We took lots of pit stops every often to switch driving because of the fatigueness we could feel. This took 9-10 hours to reach our destination driving the whole night consistently.

After reaching Pondicherry, We booked a single room 4 sharing just for freshen up & change over. This place was extremely humid & super tanning. We immediately started for brunch as it was almost an afternoon & after having food we started to explore the places around. Pondicherry was unique as we got to see the rural environment across & on the shores it's totally different from our perception. There is an avenue called “French Street” which is on the border of the sea  & this place was too pleasing in its nature. This was a place to unwind. Spent our time in enjoying its majesty & we winded up on the same evening heading towards Bangalore. This seriously was madness because we drove one full night & the second night again we planned to drive which wasn’t easy on those road conditions but we were not hesitant to do it.

So the outline of this trip is like this - We didn’t sleep for 48 hours in a stretch with all that tiresome & consciousness.

After reaching Bangalore we couldn’t even think of the next moment & slept like the dead ones on graves.

Couple of us were sick & hospitalized for this extremeness. The take away from this trip was It’s not easy with your body as your mind could think it's easy. Fortunately, No destruction to the plan but this showed how fragile we could be. This trip opened doors for a lot of adventures we have done today & really cherished for its own wholesomeness.
