Munnar – A Green Paradise

The beautiful hill station of Kerala which comes in Idukki District. It's one of the most popular hill stations of western ghat. Munnar is famous for Tea Plantations , Medicinal (Plants & Herbs) , Lakes , National Parks , Rivers & Hills.

Most of the people tend to visit Munnar during the months of October – December for pleasant & cold weather. However, If you like drenching in rain then i recommend you to visit during Monsoon’s. It's totally a different experience. The bleeding Sky & greenery all around makes Munnar delightful. You will not find a better place then Munnar if you like to spend time in solitude.

I was extremely happy with good times spent in Munnar during monsoon & felt overwhelmed with it’s beautiful scenery & lush green forests.

An unplanned trek happened in Munnar Hills on a private Estate where i stayed overnight. I started @ 6 in the morning to trek this place with a drizzly & foggy weather. It was a short trail with up-climb. Once , when i reached the peak the scenery was something like this:

After descend i went on Sight Seeing of Munnar to places like "Mattupetty Dam" , "ECHO Point", "Kannan Devan hills" , "Munnar View Point" & "Rose Garden" . All these places are absolutely blissful but if its on a Peak season then you may find it crowded which i personally dislike.

Munnar is not just about Greenery but is known for its conventional medicines. You will find lots of medicines which are naturally prepared by rare plants & trees grown in Kerala. People of Kerala are really supportive & their guidance  helped us a lot. Loads of thanks to all who helped us in making this trip successful with your guidance & advises. You guys are wonderful. Munnar is 2 days trip destination & staying in tree house is also a major attraction of Munnar Tourism.

It’s a must visit for all the nature lovers & also its a great place to relax. I enjoyed my visit to Munnar & remains cherished on every conversation with pals.

Munnar is LIVELY & REFRESHING.....
